    About the team:
    Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners is looking for a passionate, highly professional Accounting to join our small but growing team based in our corporate headquarters in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The accounting manager will be responsible for managing the accounting fundamentals of the business, handling payroll and employee related reimbursement, and developing productive, trusting working relationships with designated business leaders. As part of a growing team and company, the accounting manager will also be involved in creating and implementing new systems, methodologies and best practices for Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners.


    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Handle all core accounting functions including maintain timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, reconciling bank and investment accounts, and preparing and reviewing monthly results and monthly variance
    • Point person to manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with company policy
    • Ensure proper financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
    • Oversee all payroll function, ensuring employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
    • Laisse with outsourced benefits and payroll provider and oversee on-boarding of all employees in each dental practice and those employed at the Corporate level
    • Process and submit statutory and benefits remittances on time
    • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessary
    • Provide support to tax preparer for all filings
    • Be involved in the strategic planning and other as needed projects as we scale and build the company


    • 5+ years of experience working in accounting
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting- CPA preferred
    • Worked in fast paced high growth environments
    • Experience ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax and audit related requirements
    • Track record with creating solid relationships with internal business partner
    • Interest in examining data and financial metrics to improve the organization
    • Experience with accounting management systems, preferably Intacct

    Bonus Points:

    • Certified Public Accountant
    • Knowledgeable in PA, DE, MD & NJ employment law
    • You have completed other training and certifications related to accounting and finance

    Reporting & Start Date

    • This role will report to the Director of Finance
    • Start date for this job will be immediate
